Ministers

A church minister prepares and leads their congregation, which are parishioners who believe in a common faith and routinely attend church, in services of worship. They preach sermons that are appropriate to their churches needs but should also help welcome and attract new members. Church ministers devote a great deal of time studying, preparing and preaching biblically based sermons. Many teach bible classes or studies, mentor youth groups and lead workshop services.
