Men's Charter

The Men’s Ministry at Abundant Life Church (ALC) is “committed to building godly men to serve Christ in their home, church, career and community.” To develop men of excellence and integrity, men that know the Lord and live in obedience to His word. Through sound biblical teaching, mentoring and meaningful fellowship, we believe that men will become true Disciples of Christ, faithful and loving to their families and themselves, outstanding in stewardship and leaders who glorify God

Vision

To develop a ministry which addresses the fellowship needs of men at ALC, provide information on service opportunities, and encourage ALC men to support church ministries.

Purpose

To support men in their Christian walk and development toward spiritual maturity. Men will be challenged through Bible study, prayer meetings, and times of fellowship. This ministry is designed to develop productive relationships between Christian men, both within and outside of the ALC family.

Goals

1. Plan, promote and conduct Men’s Ministry Executive and General Ministry Meetings.

2. Express the Biblical principle and verses that under gird our ideal and actions.

3. To pray and lead others to pray for the Will of God.

4. Organize the ministry and conduct activities and meetings to keep the men in harmony with the Will and Spirit of Jesus Christ.

5. Effectively identify and plan activities and classes that will strengthen the men’s relationship with Jesus Christ, and help them identify and proceed in the direction in which He is leading.

6. Train and instruct the Men’s Ministry Leaders.

7. Organize the Ministry to promote men’s enrollment in the Men’s Ministry at ALC, and instruct and promote active participation in other ALC Ministries.
