Matt 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Street Evangelism

Street evangelism is, quite simply, talking with people about the good news of Jesus Christ. We can always talk to family and coworkers and other people about God but street evangelism generally focused on strangers wherever, whenever. We generally go to bus stops, Train Stations, and strip malls to evangelise. bus stops, Train Stations and strip malls tend to have a many people around all in one area, an ideal opportunity to speak to a lot of people at once. Street Evangelism is an additional way of bringing Gods’ Word to many who don’t have the chance to otherwise hear it, and offers the church the chance to fellowship while doing good works.

Follow Up

Follow Up consists of utilizing a person’s information (name, telephone number, address, email) that were voluntarily given and collected during the street session to assist them in transportation to and from church, prayer requests, and church services information.

Prison

The Prison Ministry is about visiting local Suffolk County Prisons to minister in the chapels. The inmates are involved in the hour program by participating in praise and worship and testimony. We give the inmates a teaching and offer prayer. We also allow the inmates the option to write to us at the Church. There have been several that stayed in contact, and we have had some visit our Church after they were released.

The vision for this ministry is to see restoration in the lives of these inmates. We want to see restoration for their spirit- that they may have a personal relationship with God, as well as restoration for their families, as Jesus takes control of their lives.
